There will be one cent folder deals and 10 cent spirals. I don't have Sandra's dilemma of too many folders. Kids move in or out, so keep some extras. I also laminate and use the one cent folders as absent folders. When someone is absent, that goes on their desk and their neighbor puts in all the work from the day inside it and then it's ready to go home.

A few of the teachers at my school by the 1/2 inch 3 ring binders that have the flexible covers as poetry folders. They are indestructable, so the teacher reuses them year after year. At the end of the school year, they take out all of the poetry they've collected, staple it with a construction paper cover for the students to take home...but the binder stays!

I'm your latest follower and hope you'll check out my new blog, too.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12240085355566012209noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2521284760941030513.post-41806761098231692712012-07-10T20:31:41.050-07:002012-07-10T20:31:41.050-07:00I think you made the right choice about the spiral...I think you made the right choice about the spirals and folders. I teach second grade and use three spirals (one for journal, one for math, one for language) and three folders (one take home, one "school folder," and one extra just in case). Thanks for blogging about my giveaway!!

Kate
EduKate and InspireKate @ EduKate and Inspirehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13649621462275576220noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2521284760941030513.post-49480221051876962522012-07-10T19:40:41.666-07:002012-07-10T19:40:41.666-07:00Nice!

LOL :) I won't be buying that this year!! :)
Good luck!
❤ Sandra
Sweet Times in First
sweettimesinfirst@gmail.comSandrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01218413969543273655noreply@blogger.com
